The 1965 musical stars Juile Andrews as Maria, the  nun- turned -governess of seven children, headed by a stern Austrian captain, played by Christopher Plummer. Andrews helps the family come together through music during the turbulent time before World War II, and the sing-a-long brings Music fans together, too. The interactive experience starts when theatregoers enter.

Fans are presented gifts once they enter to show off during the movie, like waving edelweiss during the song, ” Edelweiss”.  Fans can show off their best lederhosen  or nun’s habit during a costume contest. During the movie, lyrics to the songs are shown on-screen so fans can belt out ” My Favorite Things” and ” Do-Re-Mi.”After fighting off the crowds holiday shopping, the famly can relax and enjoy Music . The whole family can come or musical-loving friends can all enjoy this event. The Music Box Theatre is the ideal place to show the one of the best musicals of all time.
