An exciting new boutique has just opened in Elmhurst, IL. The concept of Rouse (pronounced rowz) is to awaken. The theme and inspiration of the store is designed to assist customers in awakening their creativity, passion, inner bliss and self-love. The staff at Rouse believe that when these qualities are awakened and nurtured, one can better know their true self and have a better sense of wholeness. This new and innovative Elmhurst boutique sells inspired gifts, clothing, and offers workshops, children’s birthday parties and more. Rouse is co-owned by Leslie Pozen and Angie Pool.

The grand opening this past weekend allowed patrons the chance to celebrate the arrival of this new store by engaging in several workshops and creative stations, enjoying live music and delicious hors d’oeuvres in the new space. Joel Baardseth, co-owner of Bobiam, completed a workshop constructing ages 12 to 18 on how to take their art talents to a new level. One lucky young artist’s creative work will be chosen as an exclusive t-shirt to be sold at rouse after many submissions during the art workshop. It seems like Rouse has already caught the interest of many people willing to immerse themselves in a variety of inspired works and let their creative juices flow. Whether you have an artistic side or just like to shop, head into Rouse and check it out for yourself first if you haven’t already.
